Everything Fun to Do in Denver This Weekend

These are all your local must-hit food and music festivals, events, movies, markets, deals, and concerts to help you make the most of your weekend.

Whether it’s football, Valentine’s Day, or even monster trucks, there’s a lot to love in Denver this weekend. On the football front, there are Super Bowl watch parties all over town, including one with an all you can eat taco bar. For V-Day, there’s a Sweetheart Festival, a Love Sucks party, and a last-minute flash market. We also have a Taylor Swift dance party, Galentine’s brunch, and free snowboard park. Oh, and if you notice it’s extra loud downtown this weekend, that’s because a plethora of monster trucks have taken up residence at Ball Arena. Go give them some love.

Friday, 5 - 9 pm; Saturday 11 am - 8 pm
Loveland
Valentine’s Day weekend is little Loveland’s time to shine, and each year its Sweetheart Festival draws thousands to celebrate everything love. And by love, we mean a palace of sweets, special effects light show, tunnel of love, beer hall, food trucks, and Little Miss Valentine and Little Mr. Cupid contests.
Cost: Free entry

Saturday, 4 pm - 2 am
RiNo
Get as bitter and cynical as you’d like at Federales’ Love Sucks Anti-Valentine’s Day party. What better way to say ‘down with love’ than by sipping a 100-ounce paloma out of an upside-down cowboy hat? Or take out your aggression on the famed Federales bell by throwing red ice shots at it. Whatever you do, your true love—tacos—will be there for you.
Cost: Free entry

Friday, 8 pm
Park Hill
Swifties can shake it off Friday night at the Bluebird Theater’s Taylor Fest. Yes, it’s a dance party devoted to everything Taylor, which means you can curse your (and her!) exes while rocking out all too well in style.
Cost: From $40

Sunday, 4:30 pm
Central Park
Super Bowl watch parties are popping up all over town, but FlyteCo Tower’s is the only one we know of with all you can eat tacos, sliders, mac and cheese and more. Whether you’re more interested in the Chiefs and Eagles or Rihanna’s halftime show, it’s a good day to see just how far you can stretch your waistband.
Cost: $20

Saturday - Sunday 7:30 am - 2 pm
Cherry Creek
Dance, sip, and eat with your besties at Local Jones’s Galentine’s Vinyl Brunch all weekend long. Because is there anything more worthy of your love than cinnamon and chocolate swirl brioche French toast and passion fruit spritzes? Bonus: If you’re looking to make things permanent, Link & Lou will be popping up Sunday with its permanent jewelry collection.
Cost: Free entry

Sip and shop at this V-Day flash market

Saturday, 2 - 6:30 pm
RiNo
Grab something for your love (especially if your love is yourself) from the 14 vendors popping up at Mile High Spirits for a Valentine’s Flash Market. Besides the shopping, they’ll have $4 happy hour drinks, a DJ, and Mexican BBQ from Ella’s Food Truck.
Cost: Free entry

Friday - Sunday
Ruby Hill Park
Grab your board or skis and hit the Ruby Hill Rail Yard to show off your tricks (or learn some new ones) on the ten rails and boxes. Now open for the season, the park also offers free rental gear on Saturdays from 11 am to 6 pm.
Cost: Free entry

Friday - Sunday
Downtown
There are not one, not two, not even three, but four opportunities to witness the rowdy action that is Monster Jam this weekend. It all goes down at Ball Arena, and there’s even a pre-show pit party where you can get up close and personal with your favorite truck. Grave Digger will be there, and so should you.
Cost: From $32
