It’s time to embrace your inner lumberjack. No, it’s not in Denver, but it’s not like heading west into the Rockies in October is a bad idea, and it gets even better this weekend with Avon’s Man of the Cliff. Besides all the beer and food trucks, this festival features ax throwing, keg tossing, speed chopping, and a handful of other lumberjack sports. The competitions are open to all ability levels so get chopping.

You already know that it’s fall, y’all, so celebrate the best season at Stanley Marketplace’s sixth annual Fall Festival. Grab a drink and browse the makers market, listen to live music, pick up a pumpkin, or unpack your Ant-Man costume and enter the costume contest.

It’s about time the espresso martini got its own week. Mr. Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur will be running the martini fest, which basically just features creative takes on the trendy drink at local bars and restaurants.
