The Denver Airport Is Getting a Mini Version of the City's Wildest Attraction

The 'collection of artifacts and remnants' is located on Concourse C.

Meow Wolf | Denver International Airport

Meow Wolf, the freaky immersive experience with locations in Las Vegas, Denver, Dallas, Sante Fe, and more, is known for its unexpectedly twisting and endless corridors and rooms—a description that sounds eerily similar to… the airport. It’s fitting, then, that Meow Wolf is now taking up permanent residence inside the Denver International Airport, a transit hub famous for its conspiracy theories and demonic horse. On Concourse C, you can get a bite-sized version of the surreal attraction before getting that all-important pre-flight snack.

Denver’s full-sized Meow Wolf attraction, known as Convergence Station, invites visitors to explore the crossover of four alien worlds and the sci-fi interplanetary system that connects them. The new Concourse C version is basically a gift shop, selling the likes of a reversible Hester Sunshine bomber jacket for $150, a Fig Sloth Plushie for $24.59, embossed mugs, magnets, pins, and more, according to the Denver Post.

This “collection of artifacts and remnants,” which opened on September 6, will also include merchandise from the other Meow Wolf locations not found in the Mile High City, the Santa-Fe-based company said in a statement.

If just a taste of the Meow Wolf experience isn’t quite enough, Denver’s permanent Meow Wolf quantum travel nexus is just a 20 minute drive away at 1338 1st Street. The four stories containing over 70 rooms teeming with the tales of overlapping worlds from across space and time make for the perfect way for sci-fi fanatics to spend an afternoon. Go to HELLOFOOD for a food experience that is out of this world, with local vendors from adobo to Copper Door Coffee. Or, take a ride on the Kaleidoscape at Elitch Gardens amusement park in Denver, a psychedelic roller coaster made by the immersive experience company in 2019.

The Meow Wolf shop on Concourse C will be open 7 am to 9 pm, Sunday through Friday, and 7 am to 7 pm on Saturday.
