Everything to Do in Denver This Weekend

Including an art walk and some baseball.

Sports, live music, and comedy shows? This weekend’s lineup is full of things we haven’t gotten to do in a while. Stay masked up so we can keep enjoying things like Rockies games (via TV, at least), art walks, and comics getting to actually stand up in front of people to do comedy. And even if you’d prefer to stay home, you can enjoy Snoop Dogg’s chicken wings from the comfort of your couch thanks to a celeb-packed Wing Showdown from UberEats and Off The Menu that’s hitting Denver’s food scene for one weekend only.

Taste celebrity wing recipes during the Wing Showdown

Wednesday, July 29 - Sunday, August 2
Multiple locations
Off The Menu and Uber Eats have teamed up with celebs to bring their wing recipes to the masses. During the Wing Showdown, you can order up wings via Uber Eats from local Denver restaurants that will be cooking up wing recipes from Snoop Dogg (Tap & Burger), Shaq (Lea Jane's Hot Chicken), Anthony Anderson (Great Scotts Eatery), Zac Posen (Amore Pizza), and more. Vote for your fave and see who is named the ultimate celeb wing-winner,
Cost: Depends how many wings you order

The Rockies will be stepping up to the plate at Coors Field for their home opener against the Padres. While no fans will be allowed in the stadium, you can still watch the action and show your support for our home team from afar.

Celebrate Colorado Day with free admission at History Colorado

Saturday, August 1
History Colorado
It’s Colorado’s 144th birthday, which is the perfect occasion to learn a little more about the Centennial State. History Colorado is offering free admission, although tickets are still required so they can limit attendance. If you’re not able to score tickets, they’ll also be celebrating digitally with some special virtual programming including live streamed events, recipes, crafts, and an online birthday bash.

Catch some live comedy at an outdoor show

Saturday, August 1
Irish Snug
With a freshly renovated outdoor biergarten, The Irish Snug is ready to host some social distancing-friendly events. It all kicks off this weekend with a comedy show. There will be two shows at 7pm and 8:30pm and tickets are available for either session, or both if you want a double dose of laughs.

Enjoy a culinary and concert experience with Vince Herman of Leftover Salmon

Sunday, August 2

Dinner and a show? What is this, 2019? Nope, this is really happening, with all the proper safety precautions in place. Enjoy a four course meal from Annette featuring dishes like grilled squid and pork tenderloin with succotash while listening to music from Vince Herman of Leftover Salmon. All proceeds from the event will go to the Independent Restaurant Coalition.

See the Avalanche return to the ice at a watch party

Sunday, August 2
Avanti F&B
Baseball’s not the only sport that’s back. Hockey players are hitting the ice once again and this weekend, you can watch the Colorado Avalanche in their first game since March. They’ll be taking on the Blues, and Avanti is throwing a watch party to celebrate with tons of food and drink specials if you show up sporting your Avs gear.
